In order to carry out all the projects that Kiwanis is involved with throughout the year, each member is asked to join one or more committees.

Annual Pancake Breakfast and other fundraising events. Reports to the President and Board of Directors of the Lomita Kiwanis Foundation.
Golden Apple Awards

This is a service project honoring local educators for their excellence in the classroom. Teachers from schools that service Lomita/Harbor City students will be invited to participate.
House Committee

Maintains Club House and manages rentals
Inter-Club/DCM's Arranges meetings with other clubs for visitations.
Pancake Breakfast Committee
Taylor, Chuck
Oversee all aspects of the pancake breakfast fundraising event. Food, volunteers, donations, logistics, etc.

Maximum media exposure to public including the production of a monthly newsletter online.
Program Chair

Obtains speakers, entertainment for meetings.
Thompson, James
Manages the Scholarship Trust Fund which is completely self sustained and managed as a separate entity. All scholarships from the trust fund go directly to graduating students of Narbonne High School only.
Service Projects Selects, plans, and schedules service projects.
Spaghetti Dinner
Waronek, Mark
Mark coordinates with Holy Name men at SMMC to prepare Italian spaghetti and sauce. Proceeds from event goes to Sheriff and Fire Departments in Lomita for their special needs and or equipment.
