Serving the Children of the World
KIWANIS is a global organization of volunteers
dedicated to improving the world
one child and one community at a time.

December 7, 2016 marked the 80th anniversary of the Lomita-Harbor City Kiwanis Club, celebrating 80 years of serving the Lomita and Harbor City California areas.

When our club was chartered in 1936, the Lomita and Harbor City area was a farming town with oil wells from Long Beach to Redondo Beach.  A group of local merchants started our Club to better the community.
